Train company Great Western Railway, which runs trains between south Wales and London, is warning customers that they expect to run a reduced service today because of the hot weather.
To make sure as many trains are safely able to run as possible heat related speed restrictions on lines in the London Paddington area are likely to be required from midday.
It means GWR is expecting to reduce the number of long-distance services able to operate, and where trains can run journeys are expected to take longer.
